Latin Dance


Karito has an extensive background as a dancer and was crowned Fremantle Carnivale Queen in 2014. She was part of Fremantle festival in 2014 and helped to organise Fremantle Carnival 2015. Later in 2015 for the second time she was part in Fremantle Festival; this time with her own dance group.

In 2004, Karito started working as a choreographer for a major latin radio station, doing dance shows together with national and international artists such “Don Omar”, “Ivy Queen”, “Grand Omar”, and others.

TV & Media


Karito has used her charismatic nature in many media productions across WA. She produced and starred in a West TV live studio segment Just Dance (2014), she has also appeared in many independent films, music videos, and in private corporate media.

Education


Karito always loved studying and while attending to her growing daughter, managed to complete, with distinction, a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business in 2011.

 

Karito continues giving her 110%, producing and presenting two unique shows per week ceaselessly promoting the rich variety of Latin Culture from Mexico to Argentina, be it music, dance, gastronomy or culture.

 

Her love for sharing her culture led her to study radio broadcasting at Murdoch University where under the mentorship of Michael Done and Bob Maumill her dream to found Latin Studio radio show was realised.
